Tom and Peetie Dimitroff have been in the Antiques business soecializing in Carder Steuben Glass for over forty years. On the left is a list that will demonstrate their interest in addition to Steuben. Please feel free to use the information to right to contact us at any time.

Tom has written a book on Carder Steuben titled Frederick Carder and Steuben Glass: American Classics and is currently working on another.

Tom and Peetie also are very interested in historic architecture and its preservation. Peeie is active in the leadership of the Southside Neighborhood Association, a local preservation group. They live in Corning's Southside Historic District in a Neoclassical Revival home what exhibits many Queen Anne architectural features. It was built in 1905 by the owner of a local cut glass company.

An important part of the Dimitroff's efforts in the antiqiue's business is the Antique Shop on Market Street in Corning, New York, called 94 West. This shop, located at 34 West Market Street is in the center of Corning's famous "Gaffer District." 94 West is one of Market Street's finest and most beautiful shops. About half a dozen of the area's finest antique dealers have space in the shop. Alough these dealers are critical to the success of 94 West the heart and soul of the shop is its owner and operator Linda Glosser. Wheather creating one of her fantistic shop window displays, or cleaning and/or fixing-up the areas of the shop, Linda's hand is doing anything and everything that makes the shopwork.

There are three dealers in the shop that specialize in glass. They all know glass, especially the glasses from the Corning Area. John Kohut also is an expert on America's Brilliant Cut Glass. Bill Mehlenbacher features glass open salts along with Steuben Glass along with other American glasses. Finally, Tom and Peetie love most American glass while specializing in the glass of Frederick Carder the founder of Steuben Glass.

Enjoy the photos of the shop and hopefully you can plan to come to Corning and eb sure to visit 94 West.

These three examples of Frederick Carder's Blue Aurene glass are for example and are not for sale. They exhibit Frederick Carder's love of color and why we fell in love with his glass
